Born in San Diego, CA, Patrick’s upbringing was grounded in the values of discipline and education. His father, a Naval Officer, and his mother, a school teacher, instilled in him a strong sense of dedication and a thirst for knowledge. At age two, his family relocated to Boston, MA, where he spent his formative years. He pursued his higher education at Wesleyan University, where he excelled academically and shone as a two-sport athlete, participating in Football and Baseball. Unfortunately, a career-ending back injury prompted him to transfer to Boston College, where he graduated with Honors, earning a degree in Accountancy.

His commitment to excellence after graduation led him to attain the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, successfully passing all three exam levels on his first attempt. His quest for investment knowledge continued as he studied under Professor Greenwald at Columbia University’s Executive Value Investing Program.

Before establishing PW Partners, he held a crucial role as a Partner at a value-oriented Hedge Fund based in Chicago.
